NEW LOVE
With quality materials and some creative thinking you can make something new
This client brought us an old necklace that had been given to her as a gift. Instead of keeping the necklace that wasn't her style and never wearing it we melted down the gold and set the diamond to create a new ring for her. I LOVE this ring it turned out so beautiful I wish I had one for myself!

Finding the Pearls...
It's been some time now since we have worked with pearls in our own line. Typically, the Vale pieces we design
tend to be delicate and sparkly, pieces that are ideal for layering. Check out the site to see what we currently
are featuring: http://www.shopvale.com. So this was both a challenging and fun project. After some time, we were
reminded again of the gamut of shapes, sizes, colors, finishes of 'pearls' that are on the market. Not to mention the
materials; natural and synthetic: then cultured, freshwater, glass, plastic, even Swarovski pearls! It's enough to
make a girl's head swim (with pleasure, that is).

Putting it all together...
Here's Eva knocking out a prototype of the "oyster" version featuring a smattering of grays, oysters, and creams
while knotted in between is the acid neon yellow shown earlier. Next up is a "denim" version featuring all the
blues that we wear on our legs and matched to a fluorescent turquoise for a pop on the runway.
